The sun is one of Greece's most famous aspects, and its “Faos” - as light was called in ancient times - is the element that creates beauty out of everything it touches. From the history's heritage to the crystal seas, everything shines brighter under the Mediterranean sun. FAOS has captured the essence of Greece in a pair of sunglasses, so you can always have a ray of sunlight on you, wherever you are.

Inspired by the country's known and unknown beauties, Faos' vision is to promote them to the whole world, as well as to create a deeper connection and understanding with our compatriots and other people living in Greece.

That is why FAOS designs and makes all of their products in Greece, not only to boost the local economy but to ensure that all of the deliverables, the box, the case, the cloth, capture the Greek lifestyle as much as possible. For instance, for our inaugural collection we designed and named our models after seven Greek islands, to showcase their lifestyle, architectural philosophy and colors.
Furthermore, FAOS stands for environmental protection and aims at minimizing its footprint. Hence why, we choose partners that produce and operate in the most efficient way using energy from sustainable sources and upcycle or recycle industrial waste during the production process.

Built with high quality raw materials, all of our handmade frames give improved durability over time and superior feeling when worn. All FAOS sunglasses come with lenses made in Zeiss factories for unmatched comfort in all light conditions. You can choose between amazing colorful combinations, all of which come with an eco-leather protective case, a microfiber cleaning cloth made from recycled PET bottles found in the oceans, and a signature box made from responsible paper sources.
